Winterlude

We went to winterlude in the holiday and we went ice skating saw the sculptures and saw the Chinese gallery. We first went ice skating and also after ice skating we had beaver tails and a taffy made out of maple syrup. The beaver tails weren't made out of a real beaver just out of dough and chocolate. Then we went back and we went 7.2 km. it was although long but it was our first time so we at least wanted to try it. When we got to the end they gave us free tea bags to make tea at home but they weren't just tea they were rooiboos chai and liquorice spice. Then we saw the sculptures which were made out of ice. Some of them were really good and one was even a couch made out of ice which they let us sit on. Then we went to see the china gallery which you could go through a tunnel made out of Chinese lanterns.
