Weekend at Home - Catching Up

Daddy said he was too tired to go anywhere this weekend, so I'm catching up on some things that we did a few of weeks ago. That's me at my school cross country run. My friend Emelia is sitting next to me. She lives just a couple of doors down the road from us, so we get to play together all the time.





This is me with Kathryn on the ferry to Rangitoto Island. She's in my class at school too. Rangitoto is an old volcano. We walked all the way to the top. We stopped along the way to collect some volcanic rocks, but then we threw them in to the crater when we got to the top.





When we got to the top of the volcano, we could see all the way around. We took lots of pictures. Suzie had lots of fun riding in her backpack. Mummy carried her lots, and Daddy carried her too.



After we walked back down to the bottom, we played on the seaside - throwing rocks and stuff into the water. Suzie had fun playing in the grass.
